Since 2021, Mer Elektro has been a pioneer in the development of battery containers for use on building and construction sites. Our self-developed battery containers have made it possible to electrify construction sites, which has reduced the need for diesel generators and significantly cut greenhouse gas emissions. With a focus on sustainability, operational efficiency and environmentally friendly solutions, our battery containers have been an important step towards a greener construction industry.

 

In 2024, we took another big step forward by entering into a strategic partnership with the Dutch supplier Big Ass Battery . This collaboration gives us access to their advanced battery technology, which is recognized for its reliability, performance and innovative approach to energy storage. Through this partnership, we can offer our customers even more powerful, flexible and energy-efficient solutions that are adapted to the demanding needs of building and construction sites.

The deliveries of these new and improved battery containers will take place through our subsidiary Mer Energy AS , which specializes in sustainable energy solutions.
