New footbridge Brakerøya station

The construction of a new footbridge for Brakerøya station, which will ensure access to the new hospital in Drammen, is expected to be completed in the winter of 2025. This project is carried out in collaboration with HAB Construction for Bane NOR and Sykehusbygg. The new footbridge will improve accessibility for patients, visitors and staff, and contribute to safer and more efficient transport to the hospital. With a focus on both functionality and safety, the footbridge will also support the development of the local infrastructure in the area. This project is an important step towards strengthening the connection between public transport and health services in Drammen.
